Coffee X Sake – Tasting Event & Presentation
COFFEE x SAKE is a night dedicated to discussing and tasting and learning all about two of our favourite beverages!
We will be hearing an introduction to coffee by Market Lane’s head roaster, Toshiyuki Ishiwata, followed by a discussion of Sake by Okayama Sake brewers and producers. There will be time for a Q&A and, of course, a lot of time dedicated to the tasting of these beautiful beverages.
This event will be run in English and Japanese.

コーヒーと日本酒、まったく違うのに似たところもある？
内容
コーヒーはMarket Laneからドリップで数種類をテイスティング。Market Laneの焙煎士 石渡俊行のトークから始まり岡山の酒蔵の杜氏からの挨拶、お互いに専門家同士が質問する場面もありますので滅多にない機会だと思います。
酒は岡山の酒蔵から５種類前後をテイスティング。ウェルカムドリンクで岡山のビールも提供いたします。
日本語、英語で行います。
イベントの趣旨
同じコーヒー、同じお酒でも栽培される環境、品種、精製方法によって異なるのを味わっていただく。（当日はコーヒーのプロ、そしてお酒のプロの方もいますので色々ご質問してください。）この機会を通してコーヒーとお酒の素晴らしさと皆様の繋がりができれば幸いです。
コーヒー、お酒に興味がある方も、これから学びたい方も楽しくご参加いただけると思います。

The Okayama Autumn Sake Festival 2017
This September from the 15th to the 17th, the Okayama Autumn Sake Festival will be held in Shimoishii Park along the Nishigawa Green Canal Park in Okayama City.
Kikuchi Sake Brewery and Miyashita Sake Brewery will join in the Autumn Sake Festival.
These breweries are trying to draw domestic customers attention to the high quality of Okayama-produced sake.
In recent years, Japanese people are turning away from sake; they are turning towards whiskey, wine, and the other alcohol from outside Japan. This sake festival is an the excellent opportunity for both sake breweries and people who do not know much about sake to come together.
9月の15日から17日にかけて、岡山 秋の酒まつりが下石井公園で開催され、菊池酒造と宮下酒造が参加することになりました。
日本では酒離れしていく日本人が多く、ワインやウイスキーを選ぶ人が多くなってきていますが、こうした機会でより多くの人が岡山の酒の魅力に気づいてもらえます。
