Young people enjoyed helping plant rice in Omachi rice farmer’s rice field
Summer is a busy season for rice farmers, and Mr.Okuyama is no exception.
On a day when he had time, he invited neighbors to enjoy helping with rice planting and a BBQ party.
The day was hot and humid, but people had fun at this unusual activity.
Okuyama is producing Omachi rice for sake breweries, and he also has been forming a local community through the rice planting event.
